City Walk Abuja

Abuja’s Premier Lifestyle and Commercial Destination

City Walk Abuja represents an ambitious new approach to urban development, conceived as a large-scale mixed-use district integrating business, residential, retail, hospitality, culture, education, healthcare and public spaces.

The 250-hectare masterplan on Airport Road is being developed as a new gateway district for Abuja, with a vision of combining economic activity with sustainable urban living. Its masterplan includes Africa’s proposed tallest tower at 450 metres and Nigeria’s largest indoor arena with a 13,000-seat capacity.

The development’s significance goes beyond landmark architecture. Its planning integrates green infrastructure, stormwater management, low-carbon mobility and public spaces, reflecting a more contemporary approach to building resilient cities. Phase One is designed to include cultural space, residences, retail, offices, hospitality, education and healthcare.

By connecting commerce, culture, leisure and community within one planned urban environment, City Walk has the potential to attract investment, create employment, support tourism and reshape Abuja’s relationship with the airport corridor.

The Daily Times of Nigeria honours City Walk Abuja as a DTN@100 Changemaker for advancing innovative mixed-use development, sustainable urban planning and a new model of integrated commercial and community life in Nigeria’s capital.
